Huge meteors of burning rock, plundering into the streets, the forests, the buildings, killing billions, but there are survivors:Prologue: It all happened so quickly. The corridor was dimly lit, children were screaming. Their parents grabbed who they could while cowering away from the laundry mat. Still there were at least two dozen left. Running, screaming, and hiding in clothes dryers. Then there was a bright orange glow. It was in the shape of two parallel sharp edges, then flaring out a foot where the two blades connected at an impressively skull forged handle.I remember the screaming, the glowing yellow eyes, and the blue lit fluid within this aliens armor. Then it started, first a child hiding near it tried to escape. The alien struck instantly without warning, it stabbed the poor child, as it screamed in pain with blood flowing out of his gut. The childs corpse slid off the fiery sword, and then in hatred the alien struck again. This time it sliced twice removing the head from the torso. The alien picked up the severed head of the child. Its head rose as it lifted its spine and arms into the air. It yelled a battle cry then smashed the childs skull in the its hand. The two smaller aliens entered the building. The first alien, the one that was at least six foot eight became invisible. The glowing fire of the sword in its hand was only a hue of orange, the only thing giving aliens position away. Then the alien switched off its weapon. There was no fire, no hue, no blade. This alien had become completely invisible. Two children, no older than five or six, were hiding in a dryer down the aisle. They opened the lid to see if the coast was clear. Then a fire erupted out of no where stabbing one child with one of the pointed ends while the other stuck the dryers lid. The alien made a powerful swing left slicing the second child in two damaging the next two dryers. This exposed five children, none older than seven years. They all screamed in terror as the demon completely slaughtered the children, destroying their hiding places. Severed arms, legs, & heads were scattered. Bleeding torsos decorated the walls with blood. The blood dripped from the ceiling in some places. An adult in hiding near the end of the hallway armed himself with a pistol he had found in a discarded purse. He then confronted the demon from a distance. The aliens reflexes were quick enough to dodge three of the lead projectiles by leaping around the walls and washing machines. The demon armors personal energy shielding held at half strength because of the two shots that hit the alien. From the ceiling the demon leaped lunging into the man with its deadly blade. It was quick, not painless. The man screamed in pain as the sword penetrated his skin. He fell off the blade quickly, he lye there dying. With his dying breath he was able to cough a phrase, YouBustard! The demon seemed to grow increasingly angry as it found a human weapon. The monster destroyed it without a thought. Barking noises, from the lesser demons (grunts), echoing down the halls steadily grew louder. The demon resumed his cloak, wandering down another hallway with wooden shelves & cupboards along the right wall. The elite uncloaked himself and tore the cupboards apart with his sword. A family of corpses fell out to the floor. One child, four adolescences, and a male adult. The mother had survived. She cried and screamed as she fell out onto the floor. The elite turned and the great blue fire of his sword revealed that she no longer had a left arm. From the elbow down there was nothing but blood flowing onto her body and the surrounding floor. She slowly forced herself on her knees see the murderer of her family. The demon looked down at her. She finally brought herself to sob out a question, why? She coughed some blood onto the floor. Then the demon used his swift blade in an uppercut motion, stabbing her through her rib cage and out the back of her neck. The force of the aliens attack caused the woman to be thrown into a wall that turned into the hallway the demon had just come from. Her body was sliced vertically from the mid chest to her neck where the cut turned to her left leaving the head intact. One of the coin slots for a dryer held her body up for about twenty seconds, slowly the weight of her head allowed the right side of her body to fall. A peace of fabric she was wearing was caught by the coin slot caused her to hang by the left side of her waist. The demon then turned down another smaller corridor to exit the back of the building. I quickly jumped from my hiding place above the ceiling panels onto the floor. Searching for an escape rout I found that the grunts seemed to be a much lesser type of alien, they were approximately 3 feet tall, and very dog like, though it was more of a leathery boney dog. They were often with a dragon type demon that stood near bye, these things were about 57 on average, huge muscular build, and leathery wings that I didnt even want to know the length of. These demons are what we decided to call the guardians, because they were always with enforcers, making sure they dont die off in the camps. Guardians carry a one meter fire blade, and a gun that fires small explosives. I began making my way outside the building, in the past I had never kept weapons on me, though looking back I wish I had. The laundry mat was very dark, and I felt like vomiting after seeing all the damage the alien had done. I hid in a corner, and peered out the window, the night was growing dark, and there was a light rain. Huge boulders were on top of smashed buildings, corpses seemed to decorate the buildings and streets like ornaments on a Christmas tree. And through the smoke of the fire there was a demon. At least 20 feet tall. It had a Massive set of wings, and a ring of fire surrounding his forehead where his eyes would have been. This scared me, I backed away from the broken window, the wind blew dripping blood onto my face and clothes. I then began to vomit in a washer behind me. I peered outside again for a better look, it wasnt like the other demons; this one seemed more of an enforcer, not bearing a weapon of any kind, just a long leather strap. I pondered about what this might be for. Then there was a loud barking directly behind me. I looked and there was a huge dog coming at me. I quickly grabbed some of the bloody glass shards from the window seal and stabbed the evil hound in the eyes as it leaped for me. Blinded the beast scrambled about bleeding fire from his eye sockets, while the guardian rushed at me with a sword, I blocked its armed hand using all of my might from both arms, and effortlessly it lifted its arm so that I was hanging above the ground and punched me in the stomach having me fly into the street through the window, hitting my head hard against the brick border on top of it.. The guardian chuckled to it self and threw a spherical explosive next to me, with my head pounding and light patterns emerging from what appeared to be a metal ball all I could do was stare. The light patterns grew quicker, and thats when I decided to start running. The floor was slippery because of the rain, visibility was poor, I was dizzy, and coughing up blood as I ran. I slipped forward after about 9 yards, and crashed right into a discarded pickup truck that had been smashed by a boulder. I looked up, to see a blurry image of the enforcer waling with chains, I heard the clinging of chains against the streets, and slowly my vision went black, slowly the chains against the puddles of water vanished, slowly the winds soft blow against my bloody hair left me unconscious. It all wend silent, It all went black....
